“Dimensions provides evidence-based, outcomes-focused support for people with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs. We help people be actively involved in their communities.

We are one of the largest not-for-profit support providers in the UK. We currently support around 3,500 people and their families throughout England and Wales with help from our 7,000 members of staff.

We have been providing support packages for families for 40 years. We offer a range of support services to adults of all ages, including those with complex needs or challenging behaviour.

We are proud to be a not-for-profit organisation, not here for commercial gain. This means we’re able to invest all our efforts and resources into the important things – which is helping the people we support lead happy and fulfilled lives.”

“CMG was established in 1996 by the parent of a person with learning disabilities and is now a leading national provider with over 140 services in England and South Wales.

Our expertise is in supporting people with particularly complex needs, including autistic spectrum conditions, mental health needs, challenging behaviour, profound and multiple learning disabilities and associated complex health needs. Our personalised services are provided in ordinary housing, in the centre of or near to local community facilities.

CMG’s ethos has always been that the people we support and families are at the heart of the organisation.”

CVT Shared Lives (West Midlands Scheme)

CVT (Camphill Village Trust) is a progressive charity with over 60 years’ experience of living and working with people of all abilities.  The nine community centres across England still reflect our founding values  of co-production and citizenship, and presently support over 400 people to live the lives they choose to lead.

We envisage that the development of our new and innovative Shared Lives service, will not only enable CVT to  deliver a greater choice of care and support , but also generate stronger links with local communities and neighbourhoods. Each CVT community centre will act as a hub to a network of Arrangements, providing opportunities to share experiences, resources and support. We will also facilitate co-produced social events, as well as offer access to day activities/work placements such as care farming, animal husbandry, retail, baking, arts & crafts and much, much more.

We are very much galvanised by the launch of our first Shared Lives Schemes across Dudley and the surrounding Black Country area, where our new carers and the people we support will only add to the richness of our established relationships and sense of  community.
