Learning disabled artists are winners!

Over four weekends in May 2017, artists opened their doors to the public as part of Artists Open Houses. Work from over 1,200 artists was on show in venues across the city of Brighton, Hove and beyond.

This year a group of Learning Disabled artists exhibited their work at Montefiore Open House, Grace Eyre’s Head Office and location for a lot of their day activities.  They were up against 180 other venues and were chosen as the best!!

Grace Eyre Artists at Montefiore Open House exhibited work including paintings, prints, textiles, photography, sculpture, mosaics, ceramics and knitted work.

All the work in the exhibition was made by artists with learning disabilities and/or mental health needs.
