Annual Conferences 2027

Learning Disability England believes that hope is a powerful act.

When and where:

Birmingham – 3rd March 2027

Online – 10th March 2027

Next year, the Annual conferences will focus on the theme Lead with Hope.

This celebrates hope as an active force for building good lives and a better future for people with learning disabilities and their families.

The events will create spaces that show the challenges that people face while celebrating what is possible when people come together to make change happen.

Learning Disability England wants to help shine a light on acts of hope and the individuals, groups and organisations making them happen.

In the conference programmes, Learning Disability England wants to:

– show the leadership of its Learning Disability England members

– share examples of people and organisations working with HOPE

– create a space for people to connect with others to learn or get energy (and HOPE)

There will be an online and in-person conference, both with the theme of Lead with Hope, but on different days, with different speakers and workshops.

The in-person conference will be in a central venue in Birmingham, very close to the New Street station with access to a changing places toilet.

If you want to find out more or apply to be a presenter or workshop facilitator at either of the conferences you can use this form.

How To Get a Ticket

Everyone is welcome at both conferences, you do not have to be a member of Learning Disability England.

Members get tickets at a lower rate than non-members for the in-person conference, and the online conference is free for everyone.

You can use the buttons along the right of this webpage to get tickets to the online and Birmingham conferences.

Some members get a ticket to the in-person conference (Birmingham) as part of their membership fee, those people will be contacted via email.

Self advocates and family members have a chance to get a free ticket to the in-person conference by entering the conference lottery.
