From March 17th any member of Learning Disability England can begin standing for election as a member of the Representative (Rep) Body.

There are five positions up for election; two friends and family, two paid supporter and one person with learning disabilities/self-advocate.

The Rep Body represent the members and listen to what they say is important and feedback to the other rep body members and staff at Learning Disability England.
Important decisions about what Learning Disability England do are made based on what the members have said.

There are lots of things you need to know if you are thinking about joining the Rep Body, such as:
- About Learning Disability
- About the role
- How to stand for election
- What happens when

This easy-read interactive information pack will tell you all of this and help you decide if you want to send us an expression of interest form.

There is also a video here where Jess covers most of the information from the pack.

On March 19th there is going to be an online session all about how to stand for the rep body…
