Support Our Work

Your support means more people with learning disabilities and their families are heard, can influence decisions that affect their lives, and can lead the change they want to see. More people like Phil Hughes and his sister Karen can campaign on the issues that could make a real difference to their lives and other people with a learning disability.

When you donate, you are part of the movement for change. You are contributing to making happen:

  • People with learning disabilities and their families being heard where decisions are made.
  • Campaigns for real change led by what people with learning disabilities say matters most.
  • People coming together across the country to share ideas, solve problems and take action.
  • Learning Disability England sharing accessible information and good practice.
  • A stronger, bigger national movement of people, families, friends and allies working together for Good Lives.

Joining Learning Disability England means you can give your opinions and get your voice heard. We are involved in many consultations, debates and policy work where your voice is important and people will listen to you.

You can join as an individual for £12 a year, or as an organisation – to be fair and make sure all different types and sizes of organisation are represented in the membership – fees are based on turnover.
