North Yorkshire County Council and City of York Council are carrying out a housing needs assessment to understand what housing needs local people have.

Understanding what is important to local people helps local authorities to plan for the future.

Learning Disability England are supporting this work by bringing people together to be heard.

We will be running a series of online and in person session talking about what helps housing work for people with learning disabilities and autistic people and current barriers across York and North Yorkshire.

The sessions are open to everyone with an interest in housing for people with learning disabilities and autistic people in York and North Yorkshire; we particularly want to hear from disabled people and families.

Autistic people only session (online): 13^th December 5-7pm

Open session (online) :14^th 10am-12noon

Family session (online): 16^th January at 6pm

Open Session (in person in York): 18^th January 9:30am-12 noon
