“I joined Advance in December 2020 but have worked in the sector for many years.

Learning Disability England is one of 21 partners across England who have joined together to launch Social Care Day of Remembrance and Reflection.

We know that people with higher support needs as well as their families have been some of the people most affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

The last week has seen several reports published about people with learning disabilities and autistic people.

On 19th July, the government announced that some clinically vulnerable young people aged 12-15 will now get access to the Covid vaccine.
