On Human Rights day we stand with more than 100 other organisations signing a letter to party leaders because Human Rights are critical to all our lives. We know too many people with learning disabilities do not have their basic rights respected.

The theme of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on 3rd December 2019 is leadership and participation of disabled people.
There is a general election on 12th December.
Lots of people are sharing great information to help people get ready to vote and decide how they vote.

The North West Regional Self Advocates Forum is hosting a National Convention again in February 2020.
Last week I went to a meeting on the Quality Matters initiative at the Department of Health and Social Care. With lots of other important and senior people we talked about what should be the focus of attention if we are to improve adult social care in the UK.
