Choosing and finding where to live: A How to Guide – Can you help?

Learning Disability England and Housing LIN are working together to make 2 guides.

This project is supported by NHS England.

The guides will help commissioners and people with learning disabilities and autistic people plan for and get a home that works for them.

You can find out more about the project in this easy read guide.

As part of this project we are looking for examples of information or ways of working that people think are good.

We would like to find examples of:

1. Information on housing and support that helps self advocates and family members understand and act on the choices

2. Resources that help good planning and delivery of housing and support.

We will use these to help make the 2 guides good and useful to everyone involved.

We also want to help people understand what is possible or how other people got the home that works for them.

To help with that we are looking for any stories or examples where people got the right home for them and they want to share how it happened.

If you can help, contact us on info@LDEngland.org.uk or phone us on 0300 111 044.
