Understanding and Staying safe: Riots and Demonstrations
Learning Disability England member representatives, trustees and staff are working towards a Good Life for all people with learning disabilities and their families.
This includes people living safe and valued lives in their community free from discrimination, including racism.
Because the riots have been happening all across the country, we are sharing information and connections with all members to help people understand or cope with what has been happening.
We know many Learning Disability England members are taking positive action to help in their neighbourhoods or support others, but if you or someone you know are afraid or unsure please get help from people you trust.
You can find some links below to help you find support and information made by members or other organisations.
Learning Disability England cannot be responsible if those organisations have made a mistake but if you find a problem, please let us know.
