Job Vacancy – Policy and Alliance Coordinator

Salary: £30,000
Hours: 37.5 hours a week
Location: Home based

This role brings together 2 significant aspects of Learning Disability England’s work:

  • Leading the work of the Valuing People Alliance- part of the Health and Wellbeing Alliance that Learning Disability England operationally coordinates
  • Leading on Learning Disability England’s policy and influencing work

The person we choose will enjoy working flexibly in a small, friendly team, and will see this role as an opportunity to contribute to a rights based good life for all people with learning disabilities is driven by people with learning disabilities’ priorities and inclusive of families, paid supporters and partners insights and contribution

They will be confident working with people with different experiences and viewpoints towards a shared goal, collating and sharing complex information that can inform policy and practice changes.

Their can-do approach, ability to see and solve problems, and their ability to complete tasks to agreed deadlines will play a key role in the smooth running of a team that values diversity, kindness, and high standards of delivery.
